Starting the surrogacy journey can be both exciting and overwhelming, but my experience with NYSC made it nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, the entire pre-screening and application process was organized, seamless, and filled with support every step of the way.
What immediately stood out to me was how responsive and thorough the NYSC team was with their communication. Every email, phone call, and document was handled with professionalism and genuine care. I never felt like “just another applicant” — they made sure I understood each step, answered all of my questions, and made the process incredibly easy to follow.
Before I even spoke with anyone, I appreciated how much informational material was available right on their website. It’s clear that they want every potential surrogate to feel well-informed and confident. After reviewing the resources, I had a one-on-one phone call with Joe who took the time to walk me through the process in detail and answer my questions. That personal touch made such a difference.
One of my favorite parts of working with NYSC was how organized their checklist was. They provided a simple, easy-to-follow list of everything I needed to complete. Most of the items were taken care of during my annual PAP visit to my OBGYN, and they even handled the task of getting my previous medical records — from over 12 years ago! I couldn’t believe how effortless they made that part for me.
The remaining steps included a drug screening, which they not only paid for but also scheduled at a facility close to my home. That level of thoughtfulness really showed how much they value my time and effort.
Once everything on the checklist was completed, the team put together a beautiful profile for me to share with intended parents (IPs). I absolutely loved how they designed it — they chose my favorite photos and created something that truly represented me. It felt personal, warm, and genuine — exactly how I’d want IPs to see me.
The final part of the process was a Zoom meeting with Joe and it was the perfect way to wrap everything up before starting the matching process. I was able to ask more questions, and get even more clarity about the next steps. Joe made me feel so comfortable and welcomed throughout the entire conversation.
From start to finish, I never once felt rushed, confused, or like I was doing this alone. The NYSC team made me feel supported, appreciated, and genuinely cared for. Their warmth and professionalism have made me even more excited to begin this surrogacy journey than I was when I first decided to start. I feel so blessed and grateful to begin this beautiful experience with NYSC.
