Happy New Year surro mamas! It’s been a rough start to the year, we had the flu and strep throat hit our house just before New Years, but we’re on the other side now, so here’s to a healthier year! 🎉 Almost in the second trimester! The scan went very well today. The dads were there and just tickled to pieces! She was very wiggly, and waving her hands in front of her face! The only bummer was that I have an anterior placenta, so it may take a bit longer to feel her kicks. But afterwards we went to lunch at our favorite Greek restaurant! What a lovely day. 😍
I am starting to have days with almost no nausea at all now, so I know that we’re nearing the sweet stage of pregnancy. Speaking of sweet, at the first OB appointment they did a quick ultrasound and I was able to record the sound of her heart beating. One of my favorite things during all of my pregnancies, hearing that sweet sound! Other than that, not a whole lot to report for this month!
