On the 18th of November I went in to have another blood draw to check levels, and an ultrasound. It was so exciting and even though the dad’s didn’t attend this one, they were ecstatic and will be there for the next one! Baby girl’s numbers were great, up to 7338! And I was told that I would likely be able to switch to progesterone suppositories in a few weeks instead of injections. So, lots of good news today! We also saw the well formed yolk sac measuring right on target. Another ultrasound planned for just before Thanksgiving, but for now we’ll just keep trucking through and grow this baby girl!
Time for the next big ultrasound, the one that we hope to see the heartbeat on. The dad’s are nervous and excited about it and meet me at RMA in King of Prussia. And there she was! A little fetal pole measuring a few days ahead of the 6 weeks 4 days that I was technically with a strong heartbeat in the 130s! The ultrasound tech printed a few pictures of the sweet baby and we left thrilled with the progress since transfer day! The dad’s went home excited to show their families the photos of their growing girl.
My family and I went to New York where I grew up and had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The only hiccup is that I started to feel some real nausea, but we made it through. The next ultrasound and I believe final bloodwork was scheduled for the first week of December, so now we wait patiently to see her again!
