Exciting start to this month! Anatomy scan for baby girl! The dad’s are so excited to see how much she’s grown and so am I. I feel some little wiggles and getting stronger despite the anterior placenta getting in the way. It makes me feel wonderful knowing she’s getting big and strong in there.
Side note, a difficult thing I had to see this month…a friend of a friend on Facebook that I’d been watching during her infertility journey over the last year was about a month ahead of me in her pregnancy. She even had the anatomy scan at around 19 weeks and saw a healthy baby girl, lost her baby this week. I felt so terrible and scared being about the same time in this pregnancy. I had a really early loss with my very first pregnancy, around 5 to 6 weeks along, so I’ll never forget the feeling of loss of a piece of my heart. Love on your babies, ladies, and treasure the angels out there!
Yesterday was baby girl’s anatomy scan, and her daddy’s were thrilled to see how big she’s getting! She’s measuring almost 22 weeks, and already 15 ounces! Big girl! Everything looked perfect and she showed her dad’s how spicy she could be, lol. 🥰😍👣 Then we went for a delicious lunch where I looked at their registry, and we planned for the baby shower in May at the egg donor’s beach house (😳🙏 she is also a good friend of theirs, looking forward to meeting the other half of baby girl’s DNA!), so excited for the next few months. I’m so glad I made this choice to help them, it’s been so very special and an experience that I’ll never forget. 💗💜 Here are some adorable photos of baby girl!
